Open and accessible spaces for movement and sport – a spatial typology that can be found all over the world.

Whether in the city or the countryside, small or large, designed by known architects or DIY. These social infrastructures are often ‘third spaces’ that encourage social interaction and foster a sense of community outside of family and work.

Over the past few years, I have repeatedly come across such spaces in a wide variety of forms during my travels – a selection of these has resulted in this series of postcards.
